Photo File Types

We support JPG, PDF, AI, EPS, PNG, HEIC, SVG, and more. See all supported formats. For best quality, use vector files (such as ai, pdf, eps, svg). If you're using raster (png, jpg, etc) image quality needs to be at least 300 pixel per inch.

Photo Print Quality

The material of our custom car freshener is absorbent and textured. Our custom air freshener paper is designed to be ultra-absorbent; therefore, it may slightly mute or change colors, especially black, and reduce resolution.

By using a close-up photo in your design, you are able to see more detail in the photo. Far-away photos lose definition.

When you are designing your custom car air freshener, you need to be aware of three different lines: text sWith each cutting of an air freshener, there is a small margin of error where side 1 and side 2 may not align perfectly. This results in a slight misalignment between the two sides of your freshener, causing the border thickness to differ on side 1 and side 2.afe (green), die cut (black), and art bleed (red).

Cut Lines

When you are designing your custom car air freshener, you need to be aware of three different lines: text safe (green), die cut (black), and art bleed (red).

Text Safe (Green Line) aka Text Line: This is the line where text shouldn’t pass. Text past this line will not be clear.
Die Cut (Black Line) aka Image Line: This is the line where the main image shouldn’t pass. Images past this line will not be clear. Do not have your main image or logo go past this line.
Art Bleed (Red Line) aka Cut Line: Your background should reach this line to prevent white lines along the edges. This area is great for extra background images.

Freshener Yellowing

In certain conditions, the scent may cause yellowing of your personalized air freshener's unprinted areas. The more color, the less noticeable the yellowing will be.
